For V-groove processing, ordinary flat-head end mills and special tools are mainly used to process V-grooves:
1. Use an ordinary flat-head end mill to tilt the tool or workpiece and cut the V-groove. If the accuracy requirements of the bottom shape of the V-groove are not high, you can choose a C-type end mill with a circular angle or chamfer for machining;
2. When using end mills for V-groove processing
a. When using only the front end of the tool, please consider the linear speed and set the condition by increasing the speed;
b. When the cutting quantity increases, gradually cut;
Select a tool suitable for cutting, and select a tool of corresponding material for processing based on machining shapes such as chamfer, V groove, and positioning, machining efficiency, and workpiece material.
